Chaitra Purnima was celebrated in a grand way at the Vedic Temple with Abikshekam performed for Lord Sri Anandeshwara followed rudraksha alonkar and maha aarti. Chaitra Purnima is the first full moon day of the Tamil New Year and the day on which Shiva completely opened his third eye and burned manmadha (Cupid).
