On Sunday, September 21, 2008, the Temple celebrated International Peace Day with a variety of activities. International Peace Day celebrations began with a Peace March to the Montclair Chamber of Commerce. Approximately 150 devotees and members of the community participated.

After the Peace March, the participants joined guests of honor shared a few personal reflections about International Peace Day. This was followed by a meditation lead by Maharaj and a one minute observance of silence. Celebrations concluded with Maha Aarti and Maha Prasad.
