Krishna Jayanthi, the date that marks the appearance of Krishna on the planet Earth, was celebrated on August 23rd in a grand way at the Vedic Temple, Los Angeles. Bhajans, cultural performance, dandia dance, special children's Guru Puja were enjoyed during the day with celebrations culminating in Puja for Krishna and Maha Aarti at midnight.
